A new paper by our Founding Executive Director Malek Malkawi and Prof. Dr. Reda Alhajj, in collaboration with Istanbul Medipol University, the University of Calgary, and the University of Southern Denmark, is now online.

 

Titled “AI-Powered Vulnerability Detection and Patch Management in Cybersecurity: A Systematic Review of Techniques, Challenges, and Emerging Trends,” the paper is published in Machine Learning and Knowledge Extraction — a Q1 journal ranked in the top 10% of its field. It explores how AI is reshaping vulnerability management and what it takes to make these systems trustworthy in real-world practice.
