Organized by the Turkish Cybersecurity Cluster, under the coordination of the Digital Transformation Office of the Presidency of the Republic of Türkiye and the Presidency of Defence Industries, this prestigious event brought together the most promising cybersecurity talents in the country.
Out of 55 applications, 17 finalist teams presented their projects to a distinguished jury of experts from government, academia, and industry.
We are proud to share that our project, “Multi-layered Cyber-Physical Systems Security for Industrial Control Systems and IoT Devices,” led by Lect. Malek Malkawi, was awarded 2nd place.
Our proposed system combines:
🔐 An FPGA-based layer with SHA-512 authentication for physical threat protection
🖥️ A Raspberry Pi-based server for cyber threat detection and management
🏭 Tested on smart factory and smart home environments
